The card I made for my first Kinderstampo Guest Design Team blog hop! Surprisingly, I sat down at my scrap table with assignment clear in my head: Create with color theme: Gold, Red, Black & White. And this is what I came up with! It only took me about 45 minutes and I wasn't even sweating bullets, Ha! I love to play with texture so on a small piece of cardboard box I peeled back some of the paper to expose the corrugated part that I smeared Gesso on the pressed the beads in. Pretty happy how that turned out:) The gold leaves cut out and veins etched are tucked behind the flower as well as some tulling I added after drying the Gesso with my heat tool. I use Helmar's Liquid Scrap Dots to hold it on the corrugated piece to give a lift. Love that stuff! What appears to be white diamonds are actually tiny mirrors I glued above the sentiment with Helmar's Premium Craft Glue! I got the awesome gold ribbons I used on here from my dear friend Pam Lindaman! She loves to share with me! The texture on those ribbons are so cool!
I hope you like my card and leave me some happy thoughts! Have a Funday Monday!
